The Excitement of Whitewater and the Fun of a Float Trip

Every year we try to offer something different and unique that our guest will enjoy. This year is no different… We are very excited about our Easy Summer Whitewater. It’s perfect for families and first timers and combines the excitement of whitewater rapids with the swimming and splashing of our summer fun float trip. It begins at Glen Onoko in the lower portion of the Lehigh Gorge and winds its way down an 8 mile section of the Lehigh River. This section of the river is available every other weekend on all scheduled dam release dates and is a great option for families with children who want the excitement of Whitewater but aren’t quite ready for the class III rapids.

Our e-z whitewater puts in at the Glen and takes out in Bowmanstown. This section of the river is available on Dam Release dates and during the Spring and Fall. It is 8 miles long and takes about 4 hours. With class 1 and 2 rapids. Rapid names are Demon’s Demise and Last Chance.
